The Ship at Styal · NOW OPEN
Welcome to The Ship, a 17th century pub tucked away in the pretty village of Styal, made famous in Channel 4’s gritty drama The Mill.
A far cry from the industrial revolution this vibrant setting and ambient pub attracts locals and visitors alike. We believe a pub should feel like a home to all. We are passionate about serving a decent pint and housing quality local and guest ales. Our food is freshly prepared and locally sourced where possible and our menus contain classics to suit all tastes. Our service is simple, friendly and warm with the aim to please.
Our location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Cheshire countryside, home to an abundance of wildlife and stunning views, as well as many attractions such as the National Heritage site Quarry Bank Mill, Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre, the historic estate of Tatton Park and the City of Manchester, just a 20 minute drive away.
